It is registered with the IRN, which carries out the appropriate verification and validation of the documents. Being married to, or living in a de facto union with, a Portuguese citizen for more than 3 years;<\/p><p>. Legally residing in Portugal for at least 5 years;<\/p><p>. Having been adopted by a Portuguese citizen while still a minor;<\/p><p>. Being the child or grandchild of a Portuguese citizen of origin;<\/p><p>. Being a descendant of Portuguese Sephardic Jews;<\/p><p>. Having been born in Portuguese territory and being the child of foreign nationals who, at the time of birth, legally reside in Portuguese territory, or who have resided here, regardless of status, for at least one year;<\/p><p>.
